In 2016, after many years in the fashion industry, Joost ten Broek, founded his own socially responsible label Yoost. In love with the idea of a circular economy, Joost decided to make every collection from left-over fabrics –giving it a new purpose, a new life and to step away from overproduction and waste.
Today every piece created by Yoost is circular, high in quality and above all, timeless and individual. Every garment is inspired by his hometown Amsterdam. Togetherness, tolerance and authenticity are key. Joost loves the fact that we are all different, excluding labels and ego. Every garment has therefore been numbered by hand.
