Lisette Schumacher is a Dutch visual artist specializing in modern architecture, particularly focusing on Californian architectural sites in Los Angeles. Her process begins with meticulous observation and documentation of iconic architecture, emphasizing the role of light. This leads to a series of works reflecting the site's design and history, with her latest pieces capturing the play of water reflections at the Stahl House in Hollywood Hills.
Schumacher's work has been exhibited internationally and is held in collections worldwide. She is also involved in arts administration as the chairman of Foundation Mesh and holds three Bachelor's degrees. She has participated in residencies both in the Netherlands and abroad.
